VALUE CHECKS
Margie Snow Appraisal Services does not do "value checks." It is very difficult to guess at a reasonable value without extensive research, analysis and an inspection. All this TAKES TIME. Automatic valuations such as Zillow.com or AVM's can not account for items such as condition, quality, localion, etc. That is why it is important to have a physical inspection.
If an Appraiser provides a possible value range, they have preformed a legal appraisal which is subject to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
